​The Sur-Ron Light Bee 2 L3e (also updated in the latest platform generation as the Light Bee 2 / L3e) represents Sur-Ron's upgraded homologated platform certified under European L3e motorcycle classification (equivalent to a 125cc motorcycle). Unlike the lower-speed L1e moped variant (restricted to 45 km/h / 28 mph), the L3e variant delivers unlocked high-speed highway performance alongside full street-legal equipment.

​L3e Motorcycle Class: Homologated as a full light motorcycle, enabling legal street registration, higher speed limits, and highway access where allowed.

​Upgraded 72V Architecture: Powered by a 72V high-voltage lithium-ion system (35Ah capacity) paired with a high-efficiency PMSM mid-drive motor capable of up to 10 kW peak power.

​Complete Street Equipment: Factory fitted with full road-homologated hardware including dual rearview mirrors, turn signals, high/low beam LED headlight, license plate bracket with LED illumination, horn, and side-stand safety cutoff.

​Dual-Drive System: Features a quiet primary carbon belt drive paired with a heavy-duty 420 secondary chain drive.
